The MAEC was formed to serve as a clearing house and information source on electrical issues for farmers, extension agents, veterinarians, and anybody involved with agriculture in Michigan. The goals of the MAEC are to work cooperatively with the farmers of Michigan related industries in providing electrical information for the benefit of all. The MAEC is comprised of academic, regulatory and industry representatives from Michigan State University, the Michigan Public Service Commission, Consumers Energy Company, The Detroit Edison Company and the members of the Michigan Electric Cooperative Association.
